Loan Requirements
  • Clear copy of your Driver’s License or Green Card if not US Citizen.
  • Two or more current, consecutive pay stubs; to equal one full month of pay
  • Last two years of W-2’s or 1099’s
  • Last two years of complete tax returns with all schedules.
  • Two current months of bank statements on all accounts, including pages intentionally left blank

The mortgage has to be owned or guaranteed by Fannie Mae or Freddie Mac. It must also have been sold to either Fannie Mae or Freddie Mac on or before May 31, 2009.The borrower MUST be current on the mortgage at the time of the refinance, with no late payment in the past six months and no more than one late payment in the past 12 months.
At Tampa one the first thing we do is assess your eligibility. Once we know you’re a candidate for the program we immediately move to the paperwork application phase where you would supply the necessary document. Among those documents are, your most recent income tax return, information about any smaller lien mortgages on the house. We would also itemize minimum monthly payments due on all of your credit cards and monthly payments on all your other debts.

Beware of HARP scams! There are companies all over the internet that will make promises about how they can help you with HARP and many of them are scams. Any company you talk to shouldn’t charge you a fee for “counseling” or ask you to sign paperwork to work with them exclusively. An approved HARP lender can send you their government sanctioned verification paperwork; make sure you see it before you do anything.
